Links!

Many of you have posted the link to your blog in a variety of threads, and due to a recent increased Bloody D workload (mainly due to Halloween) I haven't had as much time as I would like to check them all out. So let's make it simple for me and for the other HMAD readers to check out what you have to say!

Simply leave your blog link and maybe a quick description of what its about in the comments of this thread (even if you have already posted it elsewhere) - I'd like to be able to check out at least a few each day.

I will also be overhauling all the links on the right - this will include a (approximate) weekly 'revolving' list of a few random reader blogs. Since like 99% of you came from Blogger putting me as one of their random selections on the front page, I figure I should do something similar in return.

And I've also noticed many of you have added me to your blog list - THANKS SO MUCH! You guys rock.

  1. Capital idea!
My web site is @ PaulJohns.com. I would never put my link in a comment form unless asked. I think that's kinda blogspam.

  2. Mad Mad Mad Mad Movies: another b-movie loving blog, just what the internet needs. A lot like this, except not updated daily and a little kinder to crap movies than BC tends to be. ;)

  3. Hi BC,

I haven't left any links for you here, but you can always visit me at Mars With Mars and Venus (my sex-type blog) or Single Mom's Guide To Living Without Him (mommy-type blog.) Whatever suits your fancy, babe. Check my profile for links. That's easier. For me. Because I'm lazy? Never!

  5. Hi BC. I love this site.

I agree with paul--I would not normally plug our blog in comments, but since you asked...

    LOLHORROR!

It's where the LOL meme has gone to die. I apologize in advance.

  6. From the planet Gong is my sarky little take on the world: odd news mixed with whatever else my warped mind rakes up from YouTube, gigs I go to, poetry that grabs me... the pot head pixie from the planet Gong way, with some octave doctors thrown in for good measure.

Gorginfoogle's Movie Guide is yet another daily movie review site, though this one is not exclusively about horror movies.

  8. The Raven's Barrow at www.RavensBarrow.com is "Your Daily Dose of Darkness". I'm a Halloween and Horror fan and I try to post every day about those genre. Lots of Haunted House industry stuff too.

  9. I operate a goofy B-movie related site entitled The Film Fiend, where I was intellectual about everything from cheap kung fu flicks to the latest from such iconic failures as Steven Seagal and Jean-Claude Van Damme. It's silly, but it's fun.

  10. Not at all horror-related, but I have a vegan food blog. Vegan.Chicks.Rock..

It's kinda nifty to see how varied your readers are. Good idea on the links post!

  14. This gets my vote as the best idea for a blog yet!

We know they're out there...by the thousands...by the hundreds of thousands. Yep, blogs. In fact, you're reading one now. But just recently I came across a blog that's so original, informative, and doggone funny, I just had to recommend it here.

There's this crazy guy Brian, out of California, who's pledged to watch a horror movie a day. His reviews are wickedly humorous and insightful. What's better, is that his readership (which is only getting bigger) leave great comments. This is THE blog for you horror movie buffs out there. Enjoy!

  25. Hey everyone!

    I love HMAD!

If you get a chance, check out my new blog, Ideology of Madness (www.ideologyofmadness.com). Basically, my slogan is that if I geek about it, I speak about it. Horror movies, comic books, TV, food...pretty much all things entertaining!

  26. We run a little review website called Critical-Film.com (http://www.critical-film.com). It's not strictly a horror film review site, but the reviews do tend to cover that particular genre, simply because that's what I like to watch, and if I can enlighten someone in respect to a great horror film they may not have heard about... well, that's great. We've also taken a step in a different direction as of late, as we've started reviewing and promoting films without any sort of distribution.

We sponsored the 'Freakshow Horror Film Festival' in Florida in 2008 (and will do so again in 2009), and met a lot of independent filmmakers, including Ben Rock, director of "Alien Raiders", which was reviewed on Horror Movie a Day...

Anyway, if you have time, check out the site, and the reviews, and content we have to offer.

Thanks, and keep reading Horror Movie a Day, as it is one of the most elaborate, diverse, and entertaining horror movie review sites currently on the internet.

  32. I just started a blog called White Devil Doll From Hell (named after one of the most agonizing viewing experiences of all time). As you might expect it's dedicated to reviewing horror movies. Currently I only have 2 posts, but I will keep on adding until I have a respectable blog! In the future I also hope to do video reenactments of famous horror movies as a sort of "gimmick" to give the blog its own identity. It's under blogger so you can just click on my name and go right to it. Thanks for any interest!

  38. Hey, I write a blog called Cinema Psycho. I basically write reviews and rants about whatever movie-related events interest me at the time. I started with my own site on Earthlink and moved to a blog format earlier this year. Thanks for reading!

  39. Inspired by HMAD but for people with less time to commit, VideoNastyAWeek.co.uk is a collaborative blog where every week we watch a Movie from the Director of Public Prodicution's 'Video Nasties' list. In the 80's in Britain, you could do jail time for owning some of these movies, now many of them are available uncut (how times change). We kick off this week with 'Absurd'.
