It's rare these days that I have time to sit through an entire film in one sitting and this one managed to keep me interested and entertained.

Sure, like you said we've seen all this before but the production value was surprisingly high and there were even a few unexpected jumps. (Plus Anwar looked awesome)

Thanks again for digging through the muck to recommend the watchable ones!Chrishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17913806914523445032noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5110147752122772426.post-63971944289970365642007-05-01T06:38:00.000-07:002007-05-01T06:38:00.000-07:00I've always had a thing for Gabrielle Anwar. Even though most of her films are unwatchable, I was still debating whether to rent this or not and considering her track record and since the likely hood of her taking her clothes off at this point in her career was pretty slim I was leaning toward not. (Not to mention did Forest Whitaker run from set to set in the same costume as his photo looks almost identical to the one on the cover of "A Little Trip To Heaven??")

ANYWAY, I'll have to check this film out now. I too liked "The Return" although not quite as much as you. I had several friends who worked on the movie since it was shot here in Austin and, of course, they hit the cutting room floor. There was just a little something lacking about it.

You really can't go wrong with the plotline "Hot girl has visions and solves a mystery." (The important plot point being "hot girl.")Chrishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17913806914523445032noreply@blogger.com
