If you just kept to the supposed facts, and used a kind Monty Python style, you'd have a great black comedy. I mean, the ghost materialized gift bags of tropical fruit for the girl. The President of the United States, Andrew Jackson, dropped by to check out the newspaper accounts and got some serious poltergeist action before he got out of his carriage! Really, check the Wikipedia entry.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5110147752122772426.post-70032789056876343892010-04-25T21:50:01.155-07:002010-04-25T21:50:01.155-07:00I saw this movie when it came out because the tag ...I saw this movie when it came out because the tag line was "the only ghost in american history to kill someone" so when i saw it i though it was enjoyable until the end...The ending was just dumb...they show her bloody clothes and than they ran a definition of a poltergeist haunting across the screen saying its a part of the soul acting out for a traumatic event that has occured... again i enjoyed the movie until the end and didnt even notice the MONSTER poster...Its enjoyable for what it was i just wish the ending was better...it ended so abruptly and quick i felt cheated.Kristiannoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5110147752122772426.post-62465211000564699492010-04-25T14:45:45.485-07:002010-04-25T14:45:45.485-07:00Yeah, what was up with that movie? I wanted this to be more about the curse and the tradition of Bell Witch. It just felt to me like if a religious person did a movie about the supernatural and the lesson in the end is that there is no supernatural. It felt kind of preachy and really pissed me off. The only thing I loved about the movie was the atmosphere and mood. It was quite beautiful.Sharon Dayhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13609356325356264202noreply@blogger.com
