This isn't American Idol, if the person can't sing, don't sugar coat it.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5110147752122772426.post-33131840463375602292011-11-29T12:15:17.318-08:002011-11-29T12:15:17.318-08:00I also wonder why they used the same name as anoth...I also wonder why they used the same name as another horror film. (Though gratefully this isn't another of those horror remakes--that trend may yet wreck the genre, and younger fans of current films are subjected to remakes so often that it's like filmmakers don't have an original idea in their collectively empty heads. Present-day horror has also been without a 'horror star,' like Karloff, Price, Christopher Lee, etc., for many years).Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5110147752122772426.post-13676205205791950012011-07-15T19:30:34.049-07:002011-07-15T19:30:34.049-07:00I wanted to know WHY the killer was killing people...I wanted to know WHY the killer was killing people - I've watched it a second time trying to figure it out but there really isn't anything there that speaks to his motives other than he is crazy. Why was he at the maze? Did he go there every night waiting for some hapless group to come along? The movie was lame...very, very lame.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5110147752122772426.post-89181817061989819922011-01-15T05:56:22.693-08:002011-01-15T05:56:22.693-08:00I agree that the twist is really the only thing th...I agree that the twist is really the only thing that elevated this movie for me above a generic slasher. I was pretty bored up until that point (even though I love slashers), but the last half hour peaked my interest and was the best part of the movie. If I was wealthy I'd fund your remake :)

Also, for the entire film I kept thinking- wouldn't a maze made of corn be easy to get out of? If I were being chased by a killer I think I don't think I'd stay in the maze, but cut through the actual corn. I've never actually been in a corn maze, so maybe that's just me being crazy though.Emilyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11703547283751473482noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5110147752122772426.post-19259524257616417752011-01-14T20:37:34.775-08:002011-01-14T20:37:34.775-08:00Good kills doesnt necessarily mean "they'...Good kills doesnt necessarily mean "they're super gory". I like how Michael kills Lynda in Halloween too - there's no blood at all.BChttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06480847497966171794noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5110147752122772426.post-64292826460508718202011-01-14T20:28:12.805-08:002011-01-14T20:28:12.805-08:00Wait a minute! This painful, crap-fest could have run on Nick at Nite it was so tame. No blood. No penetration. The beheading was off camera. And the blood we DID get to see was a lovely shade of blow-pop pink. I've had bowel movements that were more graphic. (Don't worry. Went to a doctor. Had it looked at. I'm fine. Really.)

And the twist?
