It's obviously a more intentional comedy than the other films, and it's also one of the first post modern horror films that I can remember. They even at one point play the card game based on Jason. I also found it funny that finally the camp had some freaking kids at it. "So, what were you going to be when you grew up?" Great stuff.Jonathanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09548468568645800735noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5110147752122772426.post-32789761186894640342007-10-29T22:25:00.000-07:002007-10-29T22:25:00.000-07:00Well I think the best Friday (6) came a year after...Well I think the best Friday (6) came a year after one of the worst (5), but those also had a different creative team each time around (though I think the first 4 had some re-using of some of the same principals). The first 3 Saw films have always been some combination of Wan, Whannell, and Bousman on writing/directing.BChttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06480847497966171794noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5110147752122772426.post-30668365511778424072007-10-29T22:21:00.000-07:002007-10-29T22:21:00.000-07:00You pointed out the most interesting thing about t...You pointed out the most interesting thing about this series. It amazes me that with how quickly the sequels have been made, that they are any good at all. Think back to when all of those awful "Friday the 13th" films were released every year, and it showed. Of course, I think the original "Saw" is miles ahead of the original "Friday," but that's just me.Jonathanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09548468568645800735noreply@blogger.com
