Re-animator has stood the test of time extremely well and is actually a really good film.
Night of the Demons has aged terribly like most horror's of the 1980's.
Really good review though of Re-animator.BRENThttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15953231992674091002noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5110147752122772426.post-50795463888293849472010-03-29T02:40:16.958-07:002010-03-29T02:40:16.958-07:00The origional story was a 6-part serial, not 6 sep...The origional story was a 6-part serial, not 6 seperate stories, and IIRC the movie deviates quite a lot from about the half way point. The origional was an account of events told by the assistant, which explains why the focus is on him for the first half of the movie. It's one of HPLs more readable efforts, and worth adding to your ever growing pile. Will "Pyro" Tinglehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05214345327648994392noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5110147752122772426.post-38319711714388264312009-11-17T23:39:37.803-08:002009-11-17T23:39:37.803-08:00I've always loved the Pauline Kael quote "...I've always loved the Pauline Kael quote "Barbara Crampton, who's creamy pink all over, is at her loveliest when she's being defiled". It was one of those flat floors and not really elevated screens, so if you're short like me you end up mostly looking at the back of people's heads. I would have plenty of fun watching it at home like other trashy 80s movies, but hearing almost a hundred people laugh at a movie likeAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
