I thought the remake made a mistake setting it in a light-filled loft, and the video effects on the ghost were distracting. The Japanese version was creepy and claustrophobic, and if you don't already know what's coming, it's a real jolt after the low-key mood of the rest of the movie.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5110147752122772426.post-71249198910892463492007-09-26T03:22:00.000-07:002007-09-26T03:22:00.000-07:00I haven't read the book either... but I saw the Am...I haven't read the book either... but I saw the American and Japanese version and well...I really think the American one is better. It scared me soo much >__< Now I can't face my TV set. The thing is, I love horror movies, but I'm easily scared so now I have trouble sleeping. Anyway, "The Ring" was a very good and scary movie! "Ringu" was okay, but I didn't loose sleep so... the following American movie wasn't as good as the first one though. Maybe it was because we already knew what the movie was about...after all, we already knew Sadako! (Is it Samara in the Am Version?) . Ah, I'm sorry, I'm french so my English may be bad ^^'Miladyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03155151183891738515noreply@blogger.com
