And it doesn't help that Alucard goes out like a punk at the end--he never builds up any menace at all, and then they get rid of him with surprising ease.<BR/><BR/>That said, I did like the plot about the girl summoning him in the hopes of gaining eternal life for herself and, afterward, for her lover.
