Not necessarily horror films though - I think Interview with a Vampire is a great commercial film (don't know what you make of it) and the book is great too. I also enjoyed surprisingly liked From Dusk til Dawn 3 (but not the first two!), and of course then there is Fright Night.

If I am honest, I haven't seen this film for a long time, but I really enjoyed it when I did, and I have watched it twice in my life. Incidentally, I have also seen the sequel a couple of times. It is a comedy I am afraid, and again I haven't seen it for a long time, but I thoroughly enjoyed it when I watched it. A bit like Gremlins 1 and 2 - except not; because Gremlins 2 is shite, and FN2 isn't. Interesting. Still doesn't make me love the movie any less, but it's a great point.Jonathanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09548468568645800735noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5110147752122772426.post-49472855690163215252007-08-16T14:17:00.000-07:002007-08-16T14:17:00.000-07:00Thanks for the kind words! The plot hole is that th...Thanks for the kind words!

The plot hole is that the film opens with Charlie watching a vampire movie, yet he doesn't seem to know the most generic basics of vampire protection (i.e. crosses and garlic). That kind of bugged me. I could see if Ed had some new twist on the myth or something, but he didn't, so it was sort of pointless to have Charlie go ask him. That's like having to go look up who the first president was or something.BChttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06480847497966171794noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5110147752122772426.post-74741363989281132612007-08-16T14:11:00.000-07:002007-08-16T14:11:00.000-07:00Just discovered your site today; good stuff. However, I was curious as to what the gaping plot hole is in regards to Charlie's knowledge of vampires. Once again, great site.Jonathanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09548468568645800735noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5110147752122772426.post-47321646291518768312007-08-16T10:18:00.000-07:002007-08-16T10:18:00.000-07:00I love this movie!Incidentally, the actor who play...I love this movie!
Incidentally, the actor who played "Evil" now does gay porn.
