It was a part of one of those "Dusk to Dawn" horror marathons. Since I was about 12 or 13 at the time, I thought it was pretty cool. Today, it's campy schlock. Definitely HG Lewis type fare.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18371078963597474430noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5110147752122772426.post-20266404630461846942012-05-07T18:52:34.689-07:002012-05-07T18:52:34.689-07:00Never looked into that one as I figured it was mul...Never looked into that one as I figured it was multi-genre. SADIST is indeed great though, saw it at the New Beverly a while back. I think it's on Tales Of Terror too.BChttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06480847497966171794noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5110147752122772426.post-7619729012407254022012-05-07T18:34:47.471-07:002012-05-07T18:34:47.471-07:00Pure Terror has been very much a mixed bag, in my ...Pure Terror has been very much a mixed bag, in my opinion. Throughout the first seven discs, there were at least a fair number of films I enjoyed enough that I would watch them again. I think my single favorite one is probably "Devil's Nightmare," with "The Sadist" and "Satan's Slave" close behind. But from disc eight onward, they've been almost nothing but stinkers. After this, I have the "Drive-In Classics" pack awaiting me. Any thoughts on the quality of that one?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5110147752122772426.post-49128889218242725082011-04-21T09:47:29.657-07:002011-04-21T09:47:29.657-07:00The ones I've reviewed are tagged with the nam...The ones I've reviewed are tagged with the name of the set so you can see all the movies from it (and their worth!). Kind of hard to judge the quality beforehand since I haven't seen any of them yet.BChttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06480847497966171794noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5110147752122772426.post-70919635798003583762011-04-21T01:16:07.363-07:002011-04-21T01:16:07.363-07:00I know this isn't really appropriate for HMAD ...I know this isn't really appropriate for HMAD but how about doing brief overviews of these various massive box sets for the benefit of your loyal readers? Pure Terror is currently winging its way to me in the UK from the land of the brave and free and I'd have liked your opinion before I bought it.IanWhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13864128439788522183noreply@blogger.com
