I had to turn it off after that coz the kid looked just like my own son.Marc, Manchesternoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5110147752122772426.post-52180354057444808682008-10-16T18:12:00.000-07:002008-10-16T18:12:00.000-07:00I loved the first one. But, why bother showing us two thirds of what we saw? And how did it end? All build up on the roof and they can't show us the payoff? By the way, the copy I got from Blockbuster had no extra features on it whatsoever, so I do not know if yours was a Blu Ray, or a prerealease copy that they dropped the features from, but I did not see the same DVD you did.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5110147752122772426.post-19096619328939296422008-10-10T20:57:00.000-07:002008-10-10T20:57:00.000-07:00I thought the first Feast was fun and based on the...I thought the first Feast was fun and based on the insanity of the trailer for Feast 2 I ordered it "sight unseen" as Eric said he would do, thinking "all right! The studio isn't gonna hold them back this time. They're gonna make the bad ass film they really wanted to with the first one."

Well, I'm kind of afraid they did and man, do I want my money back. Was there a script for this thing? Did they have a casting session? I mean beyond the over the top gross out FX it literally felt like it was written by a 3rd grader. (It was as if they were being paid by the number of "fucks" they could drop into a sentence.) I mean, maybe I just wasn't in the mood for it this week but I finally had to turn it off because no matter how many semi-funny FX scenes there were, the execution was so horrible and the could-a-been-good characters wasted, I just didn't care what happened in the end.

Maybe my expectations were a bit too high.Chrishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17913806914523445032noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5110147752122772426.post-70993102251848009862008-10-10T16:01:00.000-07:002008-10-10T16:01:00.000-07:00I was one of the people who go into this film thro...I was one of the people who go into this film through watching the final season of Project Greenlight. Talk about the ULTIMATE Making-of. Where is THAT DVD?

So when the film finally came out I couldn't wait to see it. It delivered. So many fantastic moments and I had a great time.

I'm very curious to see the 2nd and yours is the first review I've read on the movie.

I can't wait: Tell me why the New Bev bathroom is in the film!AllHallowStevehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05239130716408166370noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5110147752122772426.post-36173184016024406482008-10-04T19:51:00.000-07:002008-10-04T19:51:00.000-07:00I haven't bought a brand new DVD sight unseen in a...I haven't bought a brand new DVD sight unseen in a long time. I will be buying Feast II. The first movie was great, Project Greenlight for the film was great, and Gulagher is a fantastic director, and I'm glad to see him do more, even if it's just sequels at this point.Eric Shttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04858351001397130335noreply@blogger.com
