The film tried so hard ...I totally agree with you. The film tried so hard and it had something! The fact that he was able to know certain things by being in the same room with people was cool but didn't really explain it. The link to his brother had him be super smart? And that weird guy who knew all this random stuff? How did he know this stuff? So many unanswered questions. I was actually volunteering for the Horror Film Fest when it won (I think) and met the director. I'm glad I didn't see it then because I don't know what I would've said.
