The movie looked awesome and had a lot of energy. I thought Urban Legend was obnoxious and I Know What You Did Last Summer was sluggish and melodramatic. This movie was def different than most slashers. My friend and I still joke that it's like Sex and the City meets My Bloody Valentine.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5110147752122772426.post-31957818626136272252009-02-19T15:18:00.000-08:002009-02-19T15:18:00.000-08:00I love this flick, but it is completely different ...I love this flick, but it is completely different than the novel it's based on. The reason that the novel would never work as a movie is because the book takes place over one year, detailing each season with a different girl, and how they are each dating their dream guy....who ultimately kills them at the end of the season. (The Valentine theme of the book only really applies at the beginning and end of it) The catch is, the killer is using different identities, so, in the book, we don't who the killer is till he reveals himself at the end of the season. In the movie, we'd know who the killer was right from the first kill (he doesn't use a mask in the book and pretty openly reveals himself to the victims). It's a good book, and worth checking out, but the movie is better.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5110147752122772426.post-16124181021261921312009-02-18T21:51:00.000-08:002009-02-18T21:51:00.000-08:00I actually liked too, but as you said, I was prett...I actually liked too, but as you said, I was pretty much tired of slashers that were released pretty much one every month, besides that it's still a good way to repress my holiday hate, I mean, pass the time...Zedhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10072751418202883840noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5110147752122772426.post-91552781105493703562009-02-18T16:42:00.000-08:002009-02-18T16:42:00.000-08:00I thought I was the only one who liked this one. ...I thought I was the only one who liked this one.
