Have you written a longer piece about it somewhere in your many writing outlets?
I'm moved by your assertion that you don't know how to process death in real life, as if anybody knows how to do that, and even more as if they could learn it from watching movies of any kind.
But sure, Sleppy Hollow would be a VERY odd place to start with that sort of quest! The Babadook, maybe, but then you're in nightmares for a lot of nights territory...alexfhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00663695995150276878noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5110147752122772426.post-28418621943684424832016-08-19T07:18:38.341-07:002016-08-19T07:18:38.341-07:00I LOVE this movie. Goegrous movie, one of the best looking ever made, I'd say. I saw stuff way worse than this at 7 and I chalk it up to why horror movies don't scare me and why I have trouble processing death in real life. I want him to be the right age for the long run reasons, not because he might have nightmares that night.BChttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06480847497966171794noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5110147752122772426.post-26116720811046754782016-07-08T21:45:49.218-07:002016-07-08T21:45:49.218-07:00"...it's almost a bummer that it's ra..."...it's almost a bummer that it's rather violent and bloody as it'll be a long time before I figure it's OK to show my son..."
This amuses me since I was seven when I first saw this back when it came out on DVD and I was perfectly fine.Vader the Whitehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00220366772061668415noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5110147752122772426.post-86112075509002954002016-07-08T13:39:37.437-07:002016-07-08T13:39:37.437-07:00Ray Park played the headless version of the Horsem...Ray Park played the headless version of the Horseman.

I've always enjoyed this movie. It feels very much like Burton doing a slasher to me. I'm curious about if the script looked any different when Yagher intended to direct it.Andrewhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14526361949011296894noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5110147752122772426.post-64114610331573252612016-07-07T20:53:00.473-07:002016-07-07T20:53:00.473-07:00I took my "now" wife to see this.
