So knowing that the color pops and it’s a very sharp picture reinforces the idea behind that. Everyone knows of Jaws even if they’ve never seen it before. It might not be as scary as it was to us as kids but there’s still a little terror left in the film for me. Finding this movie for rent was really hard so I lucked out when a Dish co-worker suggested checking Blockbuster @ Home. Just a few minutes of research brought up Jaws and its cheesy follow ups. It got me excited though because now I didn’t have to ride all over town trying to find it. Instead I put the movie in my queue and it will be here just in time for movie night. My kids will be watching the movie for the first time and I wonder what their reaction will be to this behemoth that gave so many of us nightmares.
