I wonder what he's doing with his life that's so meaningful, that he still has time to go around making mean-spirited comments?

At least you brighten up many people's day with your amusing and informative efforts! I know I can get hours of entertainment here, not to mention a perspective on many unpopular or rare films other sites understandably ignore.Keelee von Cupcakehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14895314692595647383noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5110147752122772426.post-38073798805722088712010-05-18T07:13:13.497-07:002010-05-18T07:13:13.497-07:00As a NOES fan I have to add my two cents on some o...As a NOES fan I have to add my two cents on some of your comments. First about Freddy returning. I think he needs the fear to exist, and once he exists, he can go into anyone's dreams he wants to. I mean, what good would it do him to kill only the people that are afraid of him? That would be self defeating. So, theoretically once Kristen was afraid of Freddy, he could go kill whoever he wanted to. Starting with the other Dream Warriors first was a pretty smart move on his part. They weren't even expecting it!

Also it's established in the first film that as Freddy gets stronger he gains some influence on the "real world". If you remember the scene where Nancy and Freddy are fighting in her room her pillow gets slashed and feathers fly everywhere. She finally wakes up and her room is in perfect order, save for a single feather floating in the air. This sort of thing explains away the picture of Freddy and Alice in this film. Also doesn't it burn up right away? It could be like she's in a half sleep/wake phase.

I must agree though, Tuesday Knight is just awful. I always thought they should have started this film with Kristen's Funeral, and Joey and Kincaid shitting themselves (was it Freddy? was it something else?) and this uncertainty itself bringing Freddy back. And starting that way it could have been like A Nightmare on Elm St. meets The Big Chill.

haha and I got to say I've seen this film many times and I never thought about how Alice puts all that stuff on in the real world even though she'll be fighting Freddy in her dreams. You have a preternatural ability for picking out logical flaws like this.

Now, regarding that formspring jackass; that comment sounds firmly rooted in jealousy. I hope you have the good sense to pay it no mind.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5110147752122772426.post-2803505308685909642010-05-05T11:16:01.119-07:002010-05-05T11:16:01.119-07:00The worst part about this one is the awful dubbing...The worst part about this one is the awful dubbing or whatever on the voices...it really distracted me the whole time. True it was a pretty shitty movie anyway, but I think it would have gone down easier if it didn't sound like a horribly dubbed Korean film.

Kincaid being stranded on a whole PLANET made of junkyard though was pretty genius. And the first thing I did after watching was go download "anything, anything" (I thought it was a Replacements song right away). SO thats cool...warnberhhttp://namedropacid.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5110147752122772426.post-77997679926411563472010-04-05T11:12:30.806-07:002010-04-05T11:12:30.806-07:00Hey Werd watch it on the slurs, OK?Hey Werd watch it on the slurs, OK?BChttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06480847497966171794noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5110147752122772426.post-25145341984247957942010-04-05T11:10:20.660-07:002010-04-05T11:10:20.660-07:00i personally liked 3, 4, and 5 the most in the ser...i personally liked 3, 4, and 5 the most in the series in that order..no 5 was by no means great..but in regards to enjoyable. those are the 3.

i would rewatch those before any of the others..
2 maybe..but just cuz its freakin wierd (bird scene, the main character dancing like a fag in his room)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5110147752122772426.post-69768054255798188492010-03-30T13:31:40.614-07:002010-03-30T13:31:40.614-07:00I unashamedly love all of the nightmare films but ...I unashamedly love all of the nightmare films but I put this one near the bottom of the list 2 being the worst (to me at least). Love the Dramarama song and cheesy sequence too! The kill via needles always got me as being a little to "after-school special"-ish. I still have my 3D glasses from Freddy's Dead, so I guess I've got that going for me. I loved the idea of the Dream Warriors returning (3 is up there as the second best in my humble opinion)... and so was naturally disappointed at their quick demise. The films main saving grace for me was Robert Englund as Freddy (my favourite out of the big 3) and also seemingly the only one with the slightest hint of any acting ability in this cast.Liam [Less Than Three Film]https://www.blogger.com/profile/17899495163747026987noreply@blogger.com
