Totally like just chatting to a friend about these obscure titles. I grew up with the Puppet Master films. There's something beautiful about their aesthetic that really appeals to me... but that's no comment on the films!

Thanks to Badass Digest for giving you another soapbox. The first two were crap movies, but not only is number three a good origin story, but it has a more believable Toulon and Nazi's as the villains.Miette Schreiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17155535720565260892noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5110147752122772426.post-32173179141519337012010-09-21T20:38:04.624-07:002010-09-21T20:38:04.624-07:00You can see the hand catch the lamp in the trailer...You can see the hand catch the lamp in the trailer! But I think this sequel is the best in the series.

As for the puppets turning on Toulon: they turned on him because he was giving all the brain fluid to Elsa instead of themselves - a big burn considering they used the last of their fluid to re-animate him in the first place.

3 has more production value, but I always have a good time with part II. I mean, how can you not love Colin (?) Bernsen's gratuitous ass shot after narrowly avoiding Torch's flame?

I've never noticed the hand grabbing the lamp - and I just watched my DVD a few weeks back. I'll have to look for that.MattFininoreply@blogger.com
